Burial Permit Application - Pay Online

No person shall be buried in a cemetery in the municipality of Montgomery, Alabama until a burial permit is obtained from the City Sexton's Office.

Chapter 7-17 (c) of the City of Montgomery, Alabama Code of Ordinances
"Notice of burial shall be submitted with a burial permit form and an administrative fee of $125.00 to cover the costs of maintaining accurate records of all deaths and burials."

Burial Permit forms for indigent persons and infants (under one year old) must be completed, but there are NO charges for these permits.

Burial Permit fees must be paid online at the time of submission.

I further agree to abide by all the current rules and regulations of the City of Montgomery.
